	The New S22P Production Tool Grinder
	View the brochure in PDF format The S22P high efficiency five axes production tool grinder is designed for grinding larger tools from solid blanks up to 1". Its features, listed below, make it ideal for production and tool resharpening applications. The S22P uses direct drive motors from Etel on the rotary axes with incremental angular glass encoders. The linear axes use a direct measuring system with glass scales supplied by Heidenhain. The S22P comes with an extensive user-friendly grinding software package and features WINDOWS XP operating system. Automation packages include: “in-machine” integrated PickUp Loader with 12 sec. changing speeds or a Pallet-Tool Changing System external to the machine that features a pallet-system with the changing gripper inside the machine. This option offers 5 sec. changing speeds. The S22 is also available in a cost effective “E” version. The S22E utilizes all the advanced features of the S22P, except for the glass scale feedback.
